Elements of German culture are present everywhere in Ohio, and are especially concentrated in the area a few blocks south of the capitol building known as German Village, a 200 year old neighborhood where you can enjoy cobblestone streets, small shops of all kinds, and authentic German cuisine. Because of its central location within the most densely populated state in the country, local residents are fortunate that any concert or traveling show or consumer product they wish to experience eventually will pass through Columbus.
